Someone Else Entirely' is the first-ever offering, by producer & songwriter, 'Kayes (kay-ess) Mensah'.

The 23-year-old has assembled an embodiment of work that aims to take listeners on a smooth journey of self-produced, lyrical finesse; accompanied by thought-provoking anecdotes. All with the intention to introduce the North London native to the world.
Having participated within music for a number of years, the young musician began his journey through Grime, particularly during his teenage years. But has since expanded his range through various genres of music including Rap, Hip-Hop & R&B.

The first track entitled "Someone Else Entirely" (coincidently), sees Kayes introduce himself to listeners, in the form of an oxymoron - where he quotes "I am someone else/I mean that literally.../obviously metaphorically/don't deal with hypotheticals .../". Quite pleasantly contradictory.

Meanwhile,the first single off of the EP, Heron Tower, see Kayes touch on various topics ranging from mental health; first impressions; to why drug-selling is bad (or better yet, empathizing with those who choose to do so).
At the very end of the song, we are presented with the slightly-repetitive, yet contagiously catchy hook of Kayes explaining that in times of immense pressure and panic - he'll be found having a suave wine & dine on the top floor of London's renowned landmark.

Although the release is only 13 mins long, spanned across 5 tracks; we believe that Kayes is able to gauge the ears of new listeners with these vastly smooth, yet entertaining tracks. As well as convey a strong message that he is not quite what you think he is - he is 'someone else'.
